4. Dior Airflash Foundation

8. Korres After-Sun Cooling Yoghurt
Got a bit too much sun? Korres Yoghurt Cooling Gel is an ultra-cooling cream gel that provides long-lasting freshness and comfort to the face and body. Ideal for after sun exposure, yogurt hydrates the skin, instantly relieving excessive heat and stinging - and can help prevent peeling skin!
9. Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer
This quick and convenient spray on body moisturizer, moisturizes skin deeply and dries in seconds without feeling greasy or sticky so you can get on with your day!
10. Elizabeth Arden - Eight Hour Cream
Elizabeth Arden's eponymous Eight Hour Cream needs little introduction, other than to say it's a beauty essential for any travel bag. A complete multitasker, it works wonders on all manner of skin demands, moisturising skin, glossing lips and relieving drying, chapping and even sunburn. So handy are the little magic tubes that it's rumoured two are sold every minute!

11. Tokyo Milk Bon Bon Shea Butter - Dead Sexy
Unexpected essences are crushed & distilled then blended with extracts of Japanese Green Tea, Mimosa Bark & Dandelion and enveloped in moisture-rich Shea Butter to create this coveted treasure. Comes in many different scents.

12. Evian Moisture Spray
An air travel godsend, Evian's moisture face spray is a top travel must-haves for its ability to refresh and revive in seconds. From the French Alps, Evian natural mineral water has a balanced mineral composition and neutral pH suiting all skin types. The cool mist rehydrates skin suffering from overheated air (or stuffy airplane cabin air!) and it revives your makeup throughout the day and keeps you looking fresh. It also removes perspiration, harmful salt or chlorine, and instantly soothes and rehydrates sun-burned or wind-chapped skin.

AND OF COURSE, SUNSCREEN! My favorite is the Hawaiian Tropic Spray sunscreen for its convenience, scent, and non-sticky formula.

Tips for Packing your Beauty Essentials

We all love to travel but hate to pack! Here are a organizational tips for packing your cosmetics and beauty essentials!

Pack Yourself a Jet-Setting Kit!
With a long flight ahead of you, you'll want to make sure you arrive looking fresh and well-rested! Pack yourself a jet-set kit of TSA-Approved Travel sized products! Make sure you at least have a moisturizer, a lip balm, and under-eye brightener! Even a small Evian moisture spray would be perfect! Keeping your skin moisturized in the stale airplane cabin air is key to arriving fresh-faced on vacation!

If you have a loooong international flight ahead of you, you may want to pack some extra essentials like makeup remover wipes, a night cream, facial wash, and some cosmetics! Make it even more relaxing by giving yourself an in-flight moisturizing facial with the This Works Travel Box.
Make sure you arrive smelling fresh and clean as well! When bringing your favorite full-sized perfume on-board isnt an option, Marc Jacobs' divine solid perfume comes in handy! Packaged in an oh-so-chic silver compact, it dodges the cabin liquids allowance like a dream, and will keep you smelling sweet on your trip.

Know which makeup products are TSA-friendly!

Pack your Cosmetics Safely!

And the last tip before you jet off is to pack your cosmetics securely and safely and ensure they arrive in one piece! Nothing is worse than arriving to you destination to find that your powder compacts are shattered from being tossed around!

Using cotton balls and cotton pads can cushion any rough handling! If you have palettes of eyeshadows or other powders you can also bubble wrap them or wrap them in tissue paper to make sure they arrive in one piece!

Safe Travels this Summer, Beauties!
Wherever you're jetting off to, kick up your feet and enjoy a cocktail for me!

Spring Wedding Makeup at Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, California

I met my bride, Katie, and her mother back in January for her consultation/trial while she was in town for a few days from Atlanta (she works as an animal trainer at the aquarium - how cool, huh?)! Then a few months later we met again for her wedding day (finally!) in April! Between my partner and hairstylist Jen Hatcher, our two assistants, and I, we beautified more than 8 ladies, from the bride and her mother and mother-in-law, to her entire bridal party and even some extended family members! Through smiles, several emotional and tearful moments, and dancing, Katie and her ladies looked fabulous past their sparkling exit!

This is what they had to say about their experience:
"A tardy note to thank you both again for the wonderful job you did with all of our hair & makeup for Katie & Will's wedding. It was so nice meeting you, and having you both share in the day made everything even more special!"
